A New Chapter Begins

To be honest, I've never been very good at writing things that don't sound overly technical. Even though I could always write a lot, I never really knew how to start posts like this. So... hi! Welcome to the new Jimiseyo.com - refreshed, improved, more polished (I hope), and much easier to navigate.

So... why the sudden change?
To be honest, this idea had been on my mind for a long time. I just never seemed to have enough time, or a good enough reason, to finally make it happen. Something was always missing - that little spark of motivation that makes you think, "Alright... now is the right time."
Over the past few months, I've received an incredible amount of support from my clients, fellow artists, and people who simply took the time to send me genuinely kind messages. I wanted to give something back. Creating this website was, in many ways, something I wanted for myself, but it also felt like the perfect opportunity to build a place where everything I create could finally come together - my artwork, my services, my thoughts, and everything that surrounds them.
I wanted this website to become more than just a place to share illustrations. I wanted it to be a place where everything related to my work could finally have its own home - from commission information and FAQs to updates, guides, useful resources, behind the scenes insights, and the thought process behind many of the decisions I make as an artist. A place that can continue to grow alongside me, evolving as my work and experience evolve as well.
Another reason was something that's been close to my heart for a long time. I wanted to give male focused artwork a little more visibility. I've often felt that this part of the community quietly gets lost in the crowd, and I hope that, in my own small way, I can help change that - even if it's only a little.
As long as I can remember, I've loved drawing men, even though my artistic journey has gone through many different phases over the past eight years. Today, though, I genuinely feel like I've found my place. Knowing that people enjoy what I create, that my work resonates with others, and that I've finally found an audience that appreciates it means more to me than I could ever put into words.
No amount of writing could truly express how grateful I am for every kind message, every word of encouragement, and every wonderful person I've had the chance to meet along the way. That support motivates me to keep improving - to offer better services, become a better artist, and, more importantly, become a better person.
I hope this website reflects that side of me as well. I want it to show that what I do isn't something I take lightly. Every illustration, every commission, every improvement, every article, and every little detail matters to me. This work has a very special place in my heart, and I hope that passion is visible - not only in the men I draw, but in everything I create and share here.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work and support what I do. Thank you for every conversation we've shared, for allowing me to admire your own artwork, your skills, and your incredible talent.
You've shown me that the world isn't an empty canvas. You're the colors that bring it to life - vibrant, beautiful, and unforgettable. Thank you for reminding me of that.
Thank you, truly.
